Russia (the Soviet Union of course) has lost more than 8000 of soldiers in that war. The approximate loses of Mujahadins is about one million. The Soviets did not use nukes, Did not use Agent Orange and other WMD's. It was a fair fight.Obey the CowgodComment

Civilians??? For real? Yes comrade, they were not militaries. They were Mujahadins. Once again: they were not official regular army soldiers (all the official army members were killed in one day: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Storm-333). Talliban is not an army. It's a civilian group of people. Those that attacked the NYC twins were civilians too. Yes, they were fuckin' CIVILIANS - not army members. So please cut off your bullshit.
P.S. I was to army and has the LT rank, but I'm civilian, because I'm not at service. When we speak of a guerrilla war (which we had in Afghanistan), there is no such a term as "civilian". Everybody is civilian and nice by the day time... My brother in law has served at that war as a storm trooper (ДШБ), so I know how "peaceful" were those "civilians".

Once somebody agrees with you a bit you take the "whole arm"..... so if any Afgan carries a weapon and shoots at anybody he is a guerrila and needs to be eliminated. Those who hide their weapons or plant roadside bombs and use as civilans as cover should also be eliminated. Your argument about these poor "civilians" is absolutey ridiculous.
And BTW Taliban is as "civilian" as ISIS is.Comment
