I am not a Hillary fan by any stretch of imagination, but I never understood how much Republicans hated her. They had a dozen investigations into her, and all of them never had even had a crime attached to them.
With the email server... What crime was committed? There is no law against a public official running their government email through their own personal server. It might seem odd to the general public, but it turns out this was routine.... This was common at the State Department - past Secretaries of State used a similar system - and members of Congress have also used similar systems. It was not a crime to do this, and it still isn't a crime to do this.
With Benghazi.... What crime was she accused of? The State Department isn't in charge of Embassy security - The Department Of Defense is. In fact, the United States Marines are the ones with boots on the ground. I think the world of United States Marines, but two dozen lightly armed Marines cannot fend off hundreds of people for long. The Secretary Of State cannot order the military to invade another country to protect an embassy - that's an act of war. Even if the President wanted to do this, it would have been too little too late. We had a quick reaction force in Italy, but... By the time we learned of the attack, got details of the attack and came up with a plan, and gave them marching orders... The attack was over. So what we would charge Hillary with? Failure to make a decision she cannot legally make?
All of this was hype. And it worked. They are still doing it. They are still investigating Hillary. In fact, I think they are investigating the people who investigated her. Whatever.
Meanwhile, we have a serious investigation where we are accusing a sitting US president of directly colluding with a foreign government into rigging a US election and.... People are going to jail. Dozens of people have been indicted. It took six years to finish Watergate and over sixty people were indicted. This investigation is just two years in and we have dozens indicted. This investigation is just getting started.

Here is how I see this playing out... Trump's kids are going to get indicted and face jail terms. Everyone is lying, and it's only a matter of time. Eventually this will land in Trump's lap and he will be impeached, and then either removed from office or resigns. (And you know he won't resign.) How many of you have actually been in an embassy? To engage with a high value guest, or indeed even to enter beyond the VISA processing areas, you have to go through layers of security, provide documentation, and sign logs. The idea that the Ecuadorian embassy abandoned protocol on one guest is ridiculous. Remember that during this time both England and the Obama administration wanted Assange, as did Sweden. No one would have been allowed to visit with him off record, period.Comment

The average ordinary person has to go through layers of security. However, if the embassy doesn't want anyone to know you were there... There wouldn't be a record of it.
Let's take a look at the bigger picture.... I am going to make some big leaps here but go along with it....
Russia had Trump under their Thumb for over a decade now. Perhaps they have a video tape of him pissing on hookers. We know Donald likes porn stars, so pissing on hookers isn't a stretch. Russia tells Trump to run, and everything thinks it's a long shot. However, Russia has been secretly spending years putting together a network on various social media platforms, going so far as to create entire organizations if only on paper inside of the US. Russia hacks the DNC. Perhaps they even hacked voting machines. Russia spends billions in local ads that we still don't know about in groups and organizations created by Russia inside of the United States - like that little red headed spy chick they arrested. Then ads on social media, sowing discord, releasing the hacked emails through Russia....
Russia tells the Ecuadorian government they want Manafort to speak directly to Julian - off the radar.

I think when the dust settles, if ever, we will find the Russian's oligarchs hold a lot of Trumps debt.
But more than that, they hold his cash flow as they launder money between his properties.
If the cash flow stops, his legit and non legit debt is unpayable.
I sense he has been in arrears with some of that Russian debt and fears poisoning.
If you were just able to see his taxes, most of it would all make sense I'm sure.

Let's all keep in mind the Watergate investigation took six years. We are only one third of the way there.
Everything about this administration is evil, vile, and corrupt.
Trump went to the G20 meeting, made a big announcement about China removing tariffs on American cars, but no in the entire United States government can tell us anything about the deal or agreement. The deal doesn't even make sense, and wouldn't benefit American auto companies anyhow. In order for China to remove tariffs on American cars in China, they would have to remove all tariffs against all cars sold in China because of a prior WTO agreement. American car companies would hardly benefit, being as we already make cars in China. WTF?
We have a single investigation that is turning in indictment after indictment. We just found out that everyone in the Trump administration lied about attempts to do business in Moscow during the campaign. Russia knew this, and thus had compromising information about the President. Please don't tell me they weren't working on a deal; Trump offered Putin a $50 million condo to sweeten the deal and they already had financing in place.
I'm tired of this. We need a new law that says if you lie to the FBI during a political investigation, you go to prison for ten years. We have lie after lie after lie. It's sickening.Herschel Savage

All large countries do this.
I have a book written by the guy who was behind the operation to sneak Americans hiding out in the Canadian embassy in Iran in the 1970s. He details everything they did to bug each other. One story was about how they used to have access to one of the embassy cars at night, and they created a special head rest for one of the seats that looked stock but was hiding microphones. They also used to break into Embassys at night.
