Where the fuck are you? I'm in central Maine near Waterville and the temp never got above 32F yesterday. Today its still 32 and snowing. There must be a hole in the ozone layer where you are ?
Stick around for a few weeks and you will see a few 16" snow storms like last year

It's funny but as a Brit i'm not used to this much snow and cold. In London if we had 4" of snow the trains stopped running and traffic was brought to a halt. Last year in Maine we had about 20+ snow storms three of which topped 16" in a 12 hour period, i must say that the people in New England are very hardy, getting out in -10F to clear the snow away. Im working on a remote controlled snow plough so i don't have to leave the comfort of a warm house to clear a 300' drive
