What's the coolest video game console to have?

If you're having people over I would say get the Wii.

If you're flying solo I'd say Xbox 360, maybe PS3, just depends on what kind of games you're into.

I would say the PS3 because it comes with everything for $399

Take the xbox360 arcade version for $199 If you want a hard drive thats $100 bucks, want wireless thats another $100 bucks. So you are at $399 and you still can't play blu-ray movies.

But as Jayvis said... it depends on what games you are into.

I have a PlayStation 3, it is not multiplayer friendly. The majority of games with multiplayer are online only. There are a few (literally, about 3 games) fun ones available from the PlayStation Store but other than that you only have sports games and a few fighting games. Street Fighter IV is pretty fun.

I would go for the Wii. Everybody can play that, even old people. It's more of a group activity then something like Call of Duty.

Unless you are a fan of Guitar Hero or Rock Band... then the PS3 or xbox360 is hella fun with people over.

What old system do you have? If it's xbox then you can play most of the old games on the 360. If you have a PS1 or PS2 and get a refurbished 60gb or some 80gb PS3, then you can play all your old games on the new system. You have to make sure to get one that has the 4 usb ports and card reader. The new systems only have 2 usb ports and are not backwards compatible with the old games.

I hate guitar hero type games
I was thinking more fighting games and probably set up a computer to play mmos

Then you probably want an xbox360 or PS3. Not as many great fighting games for the Wii

I didnt know that. It is an Xbox. If I buy an Xbox 360 I can play my old xbox games on it?
