    Out of the 32 contested seats that have announced results, Republicans took a paltry 9 of them (that's 28%). They got absolutely demolished. Literally lost almost 3/4 of the contested seats, and you're making this thread acting like it was a major victory?

      Realistically, what can the House do besides run some dog and pony show investigations?

      This was indeed a very big victory for Republicans. They saw the risk of losing the House at the midterms and got the most important things accomplished in the first two years. Keeping the senate is huge for Trump. That's going to probably be worth one more supreme justice of His absolute choosing.
