Looked like he pulled a hard left to make the lady fall down and get away from him.

It almost looked liked like he meant to do a hard left then hard right to get back into the lane but the inertia of the hard left was too much for him and he couldn't swerve back right.

Hard to tell.

He was calm until the end though

I think the lady is still arguing with him at the bottom of the ocean

At least the driver of the red car survived their injuries.

If he wanted to go over the bridge keeping the wheel left would have done it, why pull right?

The red car prevented him from going right and bumped him to the left, notice that at the moment of impact? Put the YouTube player in slow motion and you notice it better.

he should have slammed on the brakes while opening the door. That way he would have sent her flying into the windshield and hopefully she would have bounced out the door

It looked deliberate to me when I first saw it.

Like he literally just said "fuck it" and cut the wheel.. He didn't "lose control" as they put it because he obviously jerked the wheel left.

To my eye, he jerked the wheel and intentionally steered it off the bridge head on, making sure that he "broke through".

ok good, finally some people seeing what I saw... Celandina umm my OP, did you not read the last line? It seemed obvious to me he jacks the wheel to the left forcing the bus to hit the rail and toss everybody into the river... to the death! Holy shyte talk about party's over. Yeah and I agree with you man, I hate buses.. putting my life in someone else's hands as little as possible is the only way to fly... so to speak,NPI. I trust my own driving wayyyy more than other peoples... still have my good driver policy (or so it says) at the dmv in my file.
