Walking away from the Democratic Party...

Walking away from the Democratic party does not make you Republican.

Walking away from the Republican party does not make you a Democrat.

It makes you independents.... and just like that, we're all on the same team again.

"An independent is variously defined as a voter who votes for candidates on issues rather than on the basis of a political ideology or partisanship."

I've been an independent voter for 30 years and will never vote republican again. They showed their true colors.

Also shows how christians are hypocrites like I've always believed they were.

The fact that you changed parties shows that you still have free thought.

        Respect.

First, you are correct about Christians.

Secondly, the president is a nincompoop, but there are still some decent Republicans out there.

I voted for John R. Kasich but will never vote for anyone with a (R) again

I'm realizing more and more everyday that many democrats are much bigger assholes than many republicans.

I'm not talking about ideology or platforms, I'm talking simply about being assholes. for instance right here on GFY, I've been attacked more often and with much more vitriol by gfy dem than gfy repubs.

when people of the party I thought I identified with attack me with made up bullshit then it's time I reconsider who I identify with.

I would have voted for Kasich over Hillary. That's what I was hoping for.

I probably would have voted for Kasich too.
