    Keyboard orgasm for your hands

I am so lucky to still have not 1, but 2 x IBM 5150 Model M keyboards from 1984. I am trying on it right now and these keyboards feel soooooo damn great. I am type really fast on it and my accuracy is insane. It still works perfectly after all these years and even connects to my Mac.

If you spend alot of time writing, check Ebay and get yourself one of these babies. It's heavy at about 7 lbs, is made out of thick plastic, and of course has purely mechanical keys. OMG, heaven for my fingers and wrists.

I had an original PS/2 model 30 for a while which had a similar clickety clack keyboard. It's lucky my mother was a heavy sleeper because her bed was on the other side of the wall my computer desk sat against, and I'd usually be typing away all night.

Once when I was doing consulting on a computer that had one of those keyboards a staff member remarked that my (fast) hunt and peck style was quite calming when compared to the rapid clatter of someone touch typing on the same keyboard.
