I'm, looking for a software program to locate duplicate fiiles.

    Hey guys,

I have an external hard drive full of pics and thou poor management there seems to be alot of duplicates. I would love to scan the drive get a list of duplicates via name or file size and delete them. Do you have a suggestion of what I can use.,......

If you're using Windows XP, give DupFinder a try.

I downloaded it and see the file dupfinder.exe listed I don't expect to see it in my list of programs or start menu so how do I run it.

If you installed it, you'd see it asks where to install; the default is C:\Program Files\Support Tools\. Open Explorer, go there, double click dupfinder.exe.
