I was in Russia at the time watching this unfold... and... the sailors died... why? because Putin didn't allow help that was already on the scene to save them. imagine being a Russian Submariner and sitting in water and pitch black and cold, tapping out SOS on the hull for days, knowing your own government is not only incompetent and inept... but that doesn't value human life in any way... even when it's their own citizens.
