I've noticed this too - it's especially true on netflix. Take for instance "big mouth" season 1. Pay close attention - there's only two white-on-white relationships. In one of them they kiss and decide "this isn't it", and in the other the white guy tries to rape the white girl. The only white guy potrayed as intelligent is gay. Every other relationship in the entire season is interracial. Imho it's intentional and pushing some agenda. If it was just a couple of shows one could say it was the writers personal beliefs seeping through into their work but it's just too many shows that are doing this. they just use writers that think that way... easy way to do it... and the producers think that was as well... I was working on a show where the producers need to change public perceptions so the producers got writers that thought correctly. I asked one of the producers what was going on so I know for a fact this is what happened. and yes this was in regards to pressure form the black community.

My wife and I were noticing the other day that almost every couple in TV ads are interracial. And we just came to the conclusion that it's so the marketing can hit three demographics with one ad.
1. White people
2. Black people
3. interracial couples
There are going to be people they'll lose with that type of ad (both white and black), but collectively the three groups I listed will outweigh the racist group who doesn't approve.
