    Vertus Fluid Mask

    I finally tried this masking/extracting Photoshop plug-in, they always scare me because they're complicated - this one is amazing, this photo is my first attempt with it, slipping a text logo behind her head and in front of the tree, look at the wispy flyaway hair against a similar color range background, it's not perfect but it's really good.

                              if u try it out - watch the video tutorials - there are 2 or 3 tutorials videos that cover masking hair from different types of background situations.

                              i'm sure CS3 and 4 has a masking/extraction tool but I'm still using CS (PS 8)
