Yup I've heard of webmasters closing accounts of affiliates if they don't send sales. I wish they would state that in their TOS so I'd know not to promote them.
I am here 12 years, running my site also for 12 years, yet still do not get why Verotel or any other payment processor has to do with finding and managing affiliates ???
In my business:
1) We make the shit
2) If somebody likes our shit they sign up on my site as an affiliate
3) When somebody buys our shit Verotel processes the CC and sends us our cash weekly
4) we pay affiliates ourselves for promoting our shit.
WTF am I missing here? I for sure will need to meet with Jason next year in Prague to get a lesson
Why should they allow you to take 50% of zero income!? And why use Verotel's name if the sponsor drops you? It reads like the processor is taking 50% instead of the sponsor.
When i ran paysites,I wouldn't drop an affiliate for no sales. If no traffic, they'd lose access to content. But before that I would email to ask if they were actively promoting my sites.
