I've used it lots of times to pay designers. I messed up once, and paid in the wrong currency, so I canceled that one, and re-paid the designer.
Much to my surprise, it was very easy to do the cancellation, and I got my money back from Xoom pretty quickly.~

Yep Xoom is a good service. It is used worldwide like Western Union but the sending fees tend to be cheaper.
Workers from the Philippines tend to use it heavily because of the limited service they have received from Paypal in the past. One of the criticisms are that recipients complain about being screwed with the currency conversion rates.Comment
