Hey, where are they at? Depending on where they are I would be interested in buying or leasing the land.

We produce rice, corn and potatoes (seasonally) on a fairly large scale most of the year up in Issan. Have a nice little side business going on. You can make use of the land all but a few months out of the year.

Also have a avocado plantation in Chang Mai that we use for selling to beauty manufactures. The Thais don't like to eat them but they LOVE to use them for beauty products, skin moisturizers and the like. I want to actually start my own line of beauty products by 2011 and bypass who we sell to now but it's quite a process so not sure if that stage is going to happen or not.

Go for it, Kman. Agribusiness is a great investment opportunity in Southeast Asia if you're bringing in technology/economies of scale and capital. I live in the Philippines and there's lots of opportunities here in agribusiness. I'm sure the same is true in Thailand. SE Asian countries (save for Singapore) can use importing some mass agriculture technologies and practices from the West. Lots of profit cuz of the pent up demand. It's happening already with poultry but other areas could benefit as well.
