Does it occur to you to seek out a political forum? Lots of people on here are not American and the others are pretty young as an average age. Young people mostly don;t vote. So even if you change the mind of a few people with this crap you effect on the voting population is going to be small...

I like what Obama is doing. We have no rights to force democracy on other countries..

we turn a blind eye to china because they benefit corporate america..

we do nothing about the atrocities in africa..

we could level north korea, cuba, iran, venezuela, etc if we wanted to and considering the fact that we went into iraq and overthrew the govt yet north korea and iran continue to saber rattle, don't you think that maybe it's time to try a different approach?

If so, why would people choose mass starvation as has happened in North Korea? Why would people choose to have hundreds of thousands of their fellow citizens simply "disappear.." which happened in Iraq?

Do you really believe you have to force freedom on citizens?

You'd actually be surprised - ppl do not get to power by themselves, they usually get there because they are supported by the majority. In the case of Chavez (not a dictator - YET, but on his way to becoming one) he has the support of the majority in Venezuela, because he has done tons of things for the poor class - which is the overwhelming majority. The poor and uneducated do not know any better, so they follow their "fearless leader" blindly.

never been in the situation, but that's how history has stated these types of governments arise, such as our very own.

that's why any divide between poor and rich is a bad bad idea at all times.. eventually, even 'rich' people become poor
