Holy shit now I know things are getting bad

I use certian sites for submiting plugs, Iv been submiting plugs to one site which had a good flow of traffic and was always updated, and been online for a good 4 years now. Went to submit a plug and I get (account suspended) Now I know this guy would not let the site go offline like this, He put a lot of time and money into the site now its gone..poof just like that.
This is happing more and more so money is def tight. Iv had the same thing with link exchanges the sites just disapear when webmasters cant afford to keep them online..

and this is a surprise how?

when everyone is talking how hard the times are, then it's obviously not just talk...

if webmasters are disappearing, so are their sites...
    I don't use ICQ anymore.

yeah I know what you mean but after 4 years of work. I cant believe he would just let it go like that, he must have been making money to keep it online for the 4 years. I do know that he had that Tshirt affiliate program before it closed down or whatever happend to it. Then he put diff sponsors on the site, now its gone.

I see and understand your point, but I would not just let them go. I would give them to someone before I just killed them.

This might sound strange but, I see my websites like I see my dogs. I have put a lot of time, energy, love, money, etc... into them. I am not going to take them out back and shoot them because I can't afford dog food. I will find them a good home...

And there you point out exactly what the difference is between a real dedicated business person and the others.
Without 100% love for what you do all day and 100% full and smart dedication to it, it would not work these days.
That goes for any business (big or small and/or in any branche)...if you REALLY want it to succeed it WILL happen!, if you don't, don't be surprised if it fails...

If webmasters are shuting down sites because they cant afford to keep them running how will this affect sponsors or how many sponsors actually rely on webmasters for sales/ traffic ect Will this have a knock-on effect ? or has this allways happened in the adult biz
