A cop is never off duty! how hard is it to understand that?? She might be off the clock but she is never off duty. I've had like 6 or 7 family members in the profession so I understand this. If an off-duty cop sees something going on they are required to assist in any way they can.

Exactly, I can see accidentally going to the wrong apartment after a long day. I've done that a few times in my life. But I recognized right away I was at the wrong place. If she was knocking and asking to be let in, she knew people were in there and shouldn't have been shocked. If the door was open and she walked in, she should have realized right away it wasn't her place. Something is very fishy here.

The 2nd angle has to do with noise complaints from the man's apartment which was right
above the cops apartment.
It's being reported that the man received noise complaints from the main office on the
day before and the day of the shooting.
Was it enough noise to make somebody angry?
Angry enough to plan on killing him and acting like it was an accident?
Or did she go there to complain and things escalated.
If someone is banging on a door saying let me in, that sounds angry to me.
Where did the guy get shot?
