    If you use Twhirl or Tweetdeck for your Twitter marketing/pimping, you have come across Adobe Air. Adobe AIR is a cross platform runtime environment for creating internet applications using Adobe Flash, Ajax, HTML and Flex that can be deployed as desktop applications.                               Dude, I can sympathize with how you feel. It's similar to the feeling I got when all of a sudden "alternative rock" meant Nirvana, Screaming Trees, Alice In Chains, Green Day, etc instead of Flock of Seagulls, Blondie, the Ramones, Fun Boy Three, Adam & The Ants et al. It's kind of a sea change feeling this Web 2.0 but there's gold in them there social networks so its probably worth your time to check em out and get familiar.
