Visa/MasterCard/Etc Banning Text?

That's strange what bank is it? It's probably referring to erotic literature?

There's always been certain banned words when it comes to processing for adult merchants regardless of whether they're an erotic stories site or a video site.

You can get a merchant account but can't pay $15 in less than 30 days?

Asking for a friend.

There are definitely banned words for adult (I won't list them here). Contact Epoch or CCBill for a list.

Why not?

Merchant accounts cost no money. And I got it based on my twenty-year history of my last account, not based on current credit or income. If you paid for a merchant account, you got screwed, and I didn’t go through my bank who knows me.

That person who claims I owe money from last year but only mentioned it publicly last month? The same person I told to email me and remind me about this? Your “friend” needs to follow directions rather than have “friends” interrupt threads with a private matter. If they’re capable of posting, they’re capable of emailing or messaging me.

IF I owe money, rather than try to embarrass me (and fail since I paid) , it would make more sense to email or message me. Do you think I’d rush to pay — now — if I owed money? No? IF owed, I’d pay it 9/3, when I get money. And I’d expect a public declaration that I paid in full.

And, if I can’t pay for thirty days, your “friend” was told upfront and could have waited to do work. I certainly didn’t demand work nor not tell someone I’d pay later.

Several people here have done work. ALL have been paid right away as far as I remember. If not, they knew it would be coming soon. My references stand behind me.

I wish I remembered. My site had the word “erotica” in it yet was approved. Paysites had no sex but nudity. At first, they said no. I fought back and said “no pink” showed and breasts weren’t x-rated. They basically said a vagina is porn. I countered that a hairy vagina didn’t show skin and showed the model wasn’t a child.

The MasterCard guy at the bank agreed but said the girls were disgusting. I responded that there’s no accounting for taste.

It took a while but eventually they gave me the account. Gave isn’t the word; I paid a guy $2k for the account. Come to find out he’s the bank president’s son! He was found to be offering adult accounts for money and was fired. I got a refund but learned a newbie lesson: wait for the internet and research before leaping. Don’t believe stories that say adult merchant accounts are impossible to get. The internet had just taken off ....l

I never forgot that guy. My models were “vile” and he repeated that incessantly. Kept asking for phone sex, too. If I ever finish writing my book, I’ll include him. “The Banking Pervert” is a good chapter name!

Text relating to incest and other unseemly activities will always cause issues. It seems Visa and Mastercard have an active growing list... Processors have to fall in line.

Incest, rape, bestiality, underaged, scat, piss or anything they deem inappropriate. I was told “cunt” wasn’t allowed. I had a user-submitted story with the word.

Illegal activity text is a maybe to me. It’s a fantasy and some children’s stories skate on the fringe. Cinderella lived with seven men-type theories.

There are ways around everything though. You just need to think hard and realize being blacklisted isn’t fun. You’d need someone else to get an account and your name is never associated with it.

About twenty years ago a webmaster here had their account taken and lost something like $50k They hadn’t transferred money from the Bank elsewhere and people weren’t very sympathetic. Bestiality I think it was. It had days of posts until Lens shut it down.

My favorite no no word is tentacle. Yup, that's right. The CC's don't allow tentacle which makes any Cthulhu porn and a lot of hentai hard to describe. LOL
