Hey, thanks for the sales, the entire Industry should thank the password sites for the years and years of sales that produced millions in revenue for us alone. Those attacks greatly helped expose most of us to massive amounts of people that we could turn into sales!
Still funny though, a password guy from the 2000's... kind of missed the 'dangerous' boat by about 8 years.
All PW protection systems stop authorized logins from multi ip ranges. I don't want to shock anyone, but that's what it's job is. Then when a re-leak happens, any paysite half paying attention, knows something is wrong... Programs have stopped re-leaks for years - while others don't care (ie: exposure = sales) they let the protection system allow people in and boot people out...
Anyone that has ran paysites for years knows password sites are of no danger to us. For sure a danger that is so easily corrected, yet "allowed." Honestly, Ciao Bella is right. Coming from the Network Admin background myself, I see what he's saying and find it all to be totally creditable. I would have no doubt that with he right talent he could rip anyone of us a new hole. I would only hope that he could use that power for some good. I don't think he's doing a bad thing by post this stuff here. A lot of people need to wake up and see the reality of the situation. There are a lot of forces at work to tear us down. Some of those forces are making more $$$ of your content that you are personally. Instead of banging the guy, maybe we should try and listen to him. See, this is where you're all mixed up. We thought about that well before hand. There are proxy lists. With every user and pass that was used it's run through a specific proxy.
The original membership creators IP / followed by one to 5 proxies which kept the account active.
We ran like this for years without one single problem. Passes died, we had 100's more. Flipped this board on it's ear telling webmasters what we were going to do and then doing it. So who the fuck was not paying attention?

It's easy to find email addresses on the web, but how are you getting the passwords to those accounts? I assume it's most brute force attacks, but hotmail/yahoo/gmail lock the account after 3-5 attempts, so how are you breaking into them?Comment

The end result.. more affiliates, more exposure, more piracy, more pw leaks.... bringing in more traffic and more sales, for THEM..
Why do you think the biggest of the biggest programs (not all of them) own tubes, allow piracy, allow massive leaks, some have never spoken about it, they buy traffic from them, they bought toolbar traffic, newsgroup traffic, they know EXACTLY what massive exposure does across every possible medium..
