Is the size of the image really important? I figured the script would either crop or autoscale it. I'll see if it helps

are you sure you inserted the pic URL in the custom WOO box at the bottom of the post page?

yeah, its in the box. I tried to chmod the pic to give it more permissions but got the following:
Request denied.
Please verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation.

This might be the problem?

I did try to check their forum but they charge for access to the documentation

I haven't had any issues with it. I have a few paid themes from them and they all work just fine.
