Collusion in itself is not a crime.
There is no law saying I cannot "collude" with drug dealers. However, if I am making drugs, transporting drugs, selling drugs, and then lying about the money I am making on my taxes.... Well all of these things are crimes.
Here is a short list...
Election laws - it's illegal for a political campaign to accept anything of value from a foreign government.
Wire fraud - Seems like the Russians gave of money to the NRA, and the NRA gave a lot more money to the Trump campaign than they normally donate to a political campaign.....
Hacking - Did the Trump campaign have any knowledge of the Russian hacking activity, and if so did they report it?
Lying under oath - Every time we turn around everyone is lying about everything. Jeff Sessions completely lied under oath about three meetings with the Russian ambassador (that no one has bothered to explain yet). BTW, this is a very serious crime punishable by five years in prison.
This is just the basics. You can call all of this treason.
At the very least Federal election law has been broken. No matter how you spin it, a number of people in the Trump campaign attempted to meet with agents of the Russian government with the intention to get assistance from the Russian government to help their campaign.
This is treason.
