the third fucking one of the same story is posted ....... i can see when a big news story happens that 2 or 3 people all post the same fucking story at the same time without checking to see if it's already been posted but this Marylin Chambers thing is now a day old and idiots are still posting new threads on it as if they are Wolf Fucking Blitzer with a news bulletin.

if people expect us to take the effort to read their thread the least they could do is show that they are even half paying attention and reading the forum.... how hard is it to take a quick look through the first couple pages of the forum to make sure something that is topical isn't already being discussed?

I have always liked that news hits gfy super fast - often before news outlets. Thus it is also a double edged sword.
I have joked around before that unless you witness it firsthand, and are typing it out via wireless in the same place as you witnessed it while it is still in progress - odds are someone has already posted it on here and you should check at least the main page.
If you got the news from a news outlet, then at least check past 3 pages of GFY before posting it - forget about it if the news is also more than an hour old usually.Comment
