No, they never get arrested. Look at Ted Stevens as example (the moron who said "Internet as "a series of tubes"). He was a greasy old fuck Republican Senator who was corrupt as fuck.. Had construction companies building additions on his house in exchange for winning contracts as well as bunch of other stuff..
These corrupt fucks always get away with it, unless they get caught in a FBI sting and there is usually slim to no chance of that happening.. Sarah Palin had all sort of corrupt shit as well when she was in office in Alaska. Gave out all sort of contracts in exchange for personal gain..
