The idea of a napping and the sensation I get as I fall into sleep is wonderful, irresistible – but waking up is horrible. I feel pressure on my head, as if I'm stuck to the pillow, groggy, thirsty, muddled, etc. You could say I feel much worse than before the nap.

Occasionally I'll have the nap where I feel fresh and refreshed afterward, although these are rare. This stuff only happens during naps, never during nighttime sleep. I'm thinking it may have something to do with my mind and body not being completely relaxed as I know I have responsibilities pending for that day. Or perhaps it has to do with the noises and light of the day.

Anyone else feel this?
Maybe your nap is too short. I sleep about 5 hours a night and then nap for at least an hour in the afternoon. If I feel like shit, I have a coffee. 20-40 mins seems kinda short to me.
