The French man Sebastien don't seems to care anymore after you paid the Pro License.

Same with other Developer where you buy unlimited domain License and now they decide to not support the unlimited license anymore

Seems to be the norm on GFY, Nice Sale pitch but after they collect the funds change their minded and now you need to pay for each domain license if you want support.

Way to go

If I'm not mistaken what they are doing is loading a php file that gets the mp4 location from the source site (ie xvideos or something) and hotlinks directly to that. I've had people ask us about doing this. This works great, right up until someone blocks your server's ip (or your hosts entire ip block) when it's making 50k requests for video pages a day - it's the server making the request for the video page and not the user. I know some of the bigger tubes already block OVH network completely, and some sites throttle requests (so you get something else rather then the video page if you make too many requests too fast).

You're safer embedding videos using their player and maybe making a 'grid' of <div> containers floating overtop of the iframe that go somewhere onclick.

Hmm... just embed the videos via <iframe>. What's a problem?

It's a CSS thing, it's the same in any script or page. There's no complete code I can give you because it varies dependent on your design.
You'd make 4 divs in the template:

PHP Code:

<div id='overlay1' onClick="window.location='https://google.com'; return false;"></div>
<div id='overlay2' onClick="window.location='https://google.com'; return false;"></div>
<div id='overlay3' onClick="window.location='https://google.com'; return false;"></div>
<div id='overlay4' onClick="window.location='https://google.com'; return false;"></div>

and then make styles on each so they float over the embedded player and kinda "go around" the play button in the middle and above the progress bar at the bottom.

Great reply! That's what I wanted to know.

I don't think surfers would like a site they began to frequent, then all the videos were blocked. On top of that, I don't think it's right to be a site stealing content/bandwidth.

Surely someone will note that some tubes are packed with stolen IP and they deserve it. That may be so, but it doesn't mean stealing bandwidth is the solution.
