Budapest is indeed magical when it comes to the models. Also Prague. Another really beneficial aspect is that most local photographers pay very low. So they love work from US/UK companies that pay well.

I once had a casting call in Budapest and showed up about 10 minutes late because it was snowing like a blizzard and the taxi driver was having trouble finding the agency. When I got there I saw models lined up along the sidewalk (in the snow). The line continued into the building and up to the second floor where the agency was. Just crazy.

I love Prague the architecture is just amazing, i shot a "I can't believe it's not butter" commercial there many years ago with Fabio, for the UK market. I remember it being freezing at the time even inside the museum that we shot in, they didn't have the $ to turn on the heating. Real pity as the buildings are suffering because the lack of $ to upkeep them

Last year I stayed in a furnished Apartment for the month of December, over-looking Plaza România. Convenient to the Metro, good WiFi and TV. But, a little expensive at €40.

I would like to be lower €25-€30, convenient to Metro, but more so convenient to where best to shoot with models... unless I shoot where I live!
