                      This is really sad. I feel bad for the kids involved in such a plan to scam the system. They are basically just being used as an income stream. I don't see much light at the end of the tunnel for them... Maybe since this case has had so much publicity these kids are going to have a better chance of 'making it' than others in the same situation w/o the media coverage. It's just a shame if you ask me.

                              I am not the least bit suprised by this. I watched her on Dr Phil and first she said she would never do any kind of tv show. 5 minutes later she said she would maybe do a show about dealing with the medical issues of mulitples. 5 minutes after that she said she would possibly do a "tasteful" one hour documentary.

                              She is an attention whore and obviously has some mental issues. The only good thing about her having a reality series that with cameras around she won't be able to ignore or neglect her children and she will be able to financially support her family (in theory)

                                                                  I would think this bitch is the poster child for the GOOD side of abortion. Anybody responsible would have aborted at least 3 of those WAY premature kids. These kids simply have insane amounts of health issues and if there weren't so many they'd be healthy. How many surgeries have those lil kids gone through? Its just not right to make babies suffer like they have so far AND later in life there's a million other issues like the mental issues of the mom.

Every time I catch my kids watching it I make them either turn it or try to teach them that sort of programming is unacceptable. They didn't intend to have that many kids and found a way to help support their family without having to scrounge from the tax payer. The episodes I have seen they appear to be good people that live what is an interesting life for most of us. The one episode that I saw where Kate showed how they mange to pay for groceries was inspiring.

In fact, they are informed that the only way to reduce the number os through natural selection, and guess what, thats when they pull the religion card and say no, "Ill have all 8."

Most of it was about planning a shopping strategy and becoming the master of rain checks.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Having been through fertility treatment myself, you are always told about the possibility of multiples but that doesn't mean it will happen. Hell, I didn't even get pregnant with one.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Also..don't we work from home? So what if they do. I am hardly an expert on the show but from what I have seen she was a nurse and with that many kids she decided to stay at home. If she didn't then just as many people would slam her for not spending the right amount of time with their kids.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Again..I haven't seen a ton of the show but what I have seen I haven't had a problem with at all.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  *shurg* don't really care enough...I am a pretty cynical person but don't really care if they get free diapers. They don't live too far from my grand parents and they have been seen around but more than that I won't even pretend to know too much about them beyond what I see. Plus, I live over here so I only see them when I happen by it on a channel. They just don't bother me nearly as much as this other woman.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      i was only replying to your "money must be tight" for them - theyve quit their jobs, and no longer work, money must not be that bad lol in fact Kate has said that the "show is our job" this means the kids are funding their lifestyle, so whats next? What happens when they need money again? We shall see...

                                                                                                                                                                                                      ppl love fantasy and the show may deliver, but that doesnt take away the product placements and clear indication that this family has moved from welfarish sitatuion to huge house, get year supplies of food, free trips, and much much more.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      my grandmother had 7 kids and didnt have a show, these people are just exploiting their kids and ppl with/without kids sit at home and believe the story.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      jon quit his job in 2007, and neither of them have income outside of the show, so i wouldnt argue they have to "manage money" like the rest of the world lol
