3k hit to the tour; at $30 pps - you have to convert at 1 in 300 to break even (and that is if you are using a free hosted gallery and have no hosting costs?

Or am I missing something?

$300 is way too much (unless you're promoting $100 PPS and you're praying to get more than 3 signups).

If you get a gallery on The Hun and only have 3% clickthrough then you need to submit better galleries.

still, lets say its 5% and 5000 hits to the tour. You can easily get only 1 sale with 5000 hits of gallery traffic... And you need 10 of them to turn something or break even at least...

People have and still do make profits off of such listings.
Also keep in mind some people do not rely on PPS. Then really keep in mind not only affiliates buy these things.

years ago when I use to submit to the hun and i had a free submit listed that did 10 sales at 30PPS the first day it was listed but again that was like 2004
