You should! I do it every few months and it's always successful to varying degrees. It's great to remind people you are still out there, especially if you have anything new to show them.

I read a study saying that Tuesday and Wednesday late afternoons are best for mailings. Maybe that is when people are most bored at work.
But for the Holiday weekend I did it Wednesday evening and again Thursday afternoon. Many Americans now leave for vacations on Thursdays making Memorial Day a four day weekend.
