not to nitpick, but the term he used is "I can't/don't recall", not "I don't remember". The reason I bring this up is not to poke at crockett, but because the vocabulary here is important. Jr's legal team coached him to make sure and do not say "I don't remember". There's legal strategy behind that and the word "remember" gives prosecutors an opportunity to pursue the witness on their credibility.
It's interesting to me, years ago I had to testify in a wrongful death case and the lawyers coached me on the same thing.
anyway, Jr didn't fall far from the tree.
