Mountin. The only words I pronounce differently are those with R in them, like ‘car’ is ‘cah’.
But ‘perfect’ is ‘perfekt’.
In this area or a little North, they mispronounce many words. New ‘Bedford’ is New ‘Beffa’, wrestling is ‘rasslin’, himself is ‘hisself’, etc
Worst pronunciation I ever heard was in Boston, Cambridge actually. Woman from Medford (Meffa) told me she had eggs for ‘breffasiz’. Breakfasts
