did you read anywhere that google facebook and some other big data grabbers at the last summit of g20 have suggested that data should BASICALLY no longer be bought?
I am sure you didnīt because it was not a topic in the press and if you tell this story to anybody they will react like: OHH what a nice idea !!!
but this is exactly the way brainwashing works.
tell people something of what the THINK it is good.
but WHY for fuck google and facebook etc. SUGGESTING a law what is obviously AGAINST their own business model?
I will tell you why:
At the moment every company is able to buy data from all this guys what brings them into the status they they can use this data without any further relationship. If google does not sell them favebook with do it and at the end the data buyers are independent.
if sales of data are generally prohibited the only ones who can work with this data are the owners of this data (Google, Facebook and co)
to reach the person behind this data is than ONLY possible if you go over their services
and "rent" this service (but not the data) whenever you want to contact them.
as this big companies will have all the necessary equipment and security they will also be the "best option" for the governments, the police, the financial offices etc....
with other words: at the end THEY will be the owners of our data and the ones where ALL
data from us are centralized.
they can or can not allow a company to communicate with the persons behind the data.
google, facebook and co will be our new government because they will know MORE about us then anyone in the world and they are LEGALIZED to use this data for whatever they want.
nice strategy - and billions of people will help to realize it.
