I was doing the coughing/sore throat thing last week. Broke down and went to the doc on Friday. Glad I did. Turns out I have bronchitis and the start of an ear infection. Now I have a few days of antibiotic in me. At least I won't be contagious for Phoenix.

it seems to help actually and i already feel better than some hours ago. backs are packed and i am gonna leave for the airport soon. hopefully i can sleep on the plane, that should help

Any sinus or nasal congestion? Make sure you have something for that before you fly, because my head almost popped off when landing about 3 years ago. The most excruciating thing I've ever experienced. It was like being in the movie Scanners, except death never came to make the pain stop.

I did all the homeopathic stuff middle of last week when I felt mine was coming on. By Friday morning it was really driving me crazy. I'd coughed almost the entire night before. Luckily my doc got me in that afternoon. I'd have been SOL by today.

ok, so far this trip sucks donkey ass :-/
cause i was late i broke every speed limit just to hear at the airport that my flight from Vienna to London was cancelled cause there was a tire missing on the plane. next flight would have been too late to catch the flight to Phoenix so they told me to rebook. unfortunately there was a line of 60 people and everyone took like 10 minutes. here i was: stressed, sick, without flight
i went to have some breakfast and an hour later i went back to the line for rebooking. just to hear that they found a tire and the plane is leaving in 5 minutes.
so i rushed - in my condition AND with my big bag that i had not checked in yet to the gate. at security they took the time to throw away my shower gel and shaving foam while i was stepping from one foot to the other.
But: I made it. Now I am in London and will get the flight to Phoenix. unless i fall asleep here and no one wakes me up
