How long did it take you to make your first sale?

50 first sales..

The first sale is always the hardest. In any new niche, and especially when you're going for that genuine first ever online sale. I'd say i took in the 5-6 week area to actually make a sale when I started.

it took me two weeks to get my first sale on tranny surprise. Back then I thought shemales would convert so I tried to go that route. Then I decided to go with what I'm into and the sales started coming in much better.

About half-a-day --- but this was in the late 90s

(And for my first paysite in 1999, I had about 30-40 sales in the first day, but it was the first-ever smoking paysite and I had a lot of people waiting for the launch

About ten minutes, but I had a big advantage of several established free sites giving me a link at the moment my site went live.

Then Greenyguy set me up, said WOW, as he hit me hard.

Followed by Richard, And I said this is cool, need to start working on another site. Starting to make a few dollars here.

Then after about a week I was blessed as a "New Site" on PK's list, and I said HOLY SHIT, are there really that many people surfing internet porn

That was the first 2 weeks of August 1997, in the years that followed my path changed from running my own sites to working for Bob and RB (the second best decision of my life).

To those that came before me, and shared their traffic, knowledge, and friendship...

I am forever grateful.

It took me about 4 years, LOL.

Started to learn about selling adult online around 98/99 then around 02/03 I made my 2 sales to http://web.archive.org/web/200406132...asian4you.com/ from submitting a gallery to http://thehun.com

I had (and still do have) a regular job, so it took me some time to learn and make my first sale. Adult has always been a more of hobby to me than a full time job.

It took only a couple of days with a VOD site from AEBN...see my Sig. for more info. I think the 1st sale was under $5 bucks.

But thought it would be easier to make big money fast, you need to do a lot of work to be successful. If I can do things over again I would not have purchased a sick amount of domains 1st, but build one super website...do link trades, hard links, etc.

I don't remember. I was gallery submitting without any results (had to of been 15+ galleries), so I quit. Then one day I got a surprise check in the mail and was excited enough about that to give it another go.

That kinda happened to me as well. I was only submitting to the hun started with a few galleries and stopped figuring they were not approved. Then to my surprise a few months later all my galleries were approved and I was making money.
