thanks, i made the video small on purpose , the idea is to actually make the player invisible , just reloading videos , and to place the code on the bottom of a high traffic site to manipulate the views, i made it 100x100 so gfy users could see what was going on.

the code is on the page to rip if you want . once this test is complete i will start a new thread with the source code and a few tweaks so people can use it, all i ask is you also leave in the 1st video until april fools.

so you can basically use the hitbot source to hitbot your own videos as long as you hitbot the april fools video until apr 1. I made a php script to pull a list of youtube id's into the script and another to rip the id's from a channel/user, so you input a username and it grabs every id from that users , then creates a javascript to hitbot every video

I always thought that embeded videos do not count as views?
Also, is it a view if you only look at the first 5 seconds of a video?
I have my doubts.

thats why i'm trying the test.

Heres what i figured out so far

the views quickly skyrocketed so yes they do count, but they quickly stopped , i noticed a discrepancy in views between the account view , the video view and on the search pages. They are either collected or displayed differently. On the search page the views appeared almost as if unique page views not including embeds, on the video page itself it showed as all views but on a delay , in the account page the views show as non-delayed raws..

i'll wait till tomorrow to see if the views go back up to give my opinion on what i think is going on
