    Virtual Hosting Compared: What you get for $10.00 a month

    I'm looking for a new virtual hosting plan and decided to do a quick comparison of plans that cost around $10 a month. So many people have helped me here at GFY I thought I'd share this info so that maybe it will help others. I decided to research the companies that seem to come up the most in hosting discussions here at GFY.

    All of this info is current as of March 26, 2009. If any company listed here would like to correct the figures, offer discount codes or explain why you're better than the others even though you may not offer the most bang for the buck, please do.

    In the list below after the hosting company name I have listed the monthly bandwidth, the storage space, the monthly cost and the set-up fee (a question mark means I could not determine if there is a set-up fee).

                          I would recommend Webair or Phatservers for this 10 buck account, and I would stay FAR away from hostgator.

                                          Are you for real? You mean someone on here is still dumb enough to host with hostgator or servage? I thought this type of dumbness was exclusive to indians on DP and other clueless fags

                                                                                          Anyone that plans on hosting a Tube site that needs to run video conversions on any virtual account is headed for a disaster, it's just not realistic.                                                                                                   Seriously folks.... are you seriously considering a host based on that fact that they install WordPress? It's a fucking 3 step process! As well after v2.7, upgrading your WordPress is now FULLY AUTOMATIC - it's a one click solution!
