                During a mass shooting the majority of the carnage is done in the first two minutes. By the time this system is activated and the by time the police know there is a problem we have a dozen dead kids on the ground.

                These solutions only attempt to limit the damage after the shooting as already begun. This is wrong. The goal should be to prevent this from happening in the first place.
                well if the schools were protected this would not even be a subject of conversation... I've been sending out emails to stop the killings... how are the arguments going Rochard?

                        That's the other part of the problem. We can spend billions protecting schools. But then what about shopping malls and theaters? Flea Markets? All this solution is doing is putting MORE firearms out there.

                        We need to stop this BEFORE it happens.

                            But it doesn't protect ANYONE.

                            These gunman understand tactics. The kid in Florida had gas mask, and pulled the fire alarm and shot kids as they left their classrooms. If the gunman wants to attack this school he'll know about the doors and know about the smoke. He'll just start shooting through windows.

                            This school spent four hundred thousand dollars and all they did was create a killing zone for the gunman to use to kill even more. All this is going to do is LOCK kids in the room for the gunman to shoot at.

                                Sorry, you'll never end crazies doing crazy shit. If not a gun,a truck into a crowd? This is outside of the fact that any gun can kill people.

                                There's only 1 reason for anyone wanting to disarm Americans.

                                Its now said that no police officer entered the school until another counties police showed up. They knew what he planned to do for at least a year.. They stood down when he did it..
