AMP (since you're not on ICQ), should I get Satellite or Cable TV?
If satellite, should I get DirecTV?

I use the school's gigabit ethernet since I am still dorming. But once I get my apartment in the winter, I'm getting Roadrunner.

No. I came from my mother's womb originally. What about you?

Do a search on google groups for direcpc if your thinking of getting that, theres tonnes of complaints about their system doing the rounds.
I use one way sat in Australia (not direcpc) and its good if its the only broadband option you have but I would have gone cable or DSL if it was available around here at the time.

I lived in Honolulu in '99 and part of 2000. I had a super fast and very reliable Cable modem connection (Road Runner) for about $30/month.
I also thought their Digital Cable system was far more advanced than the rest of the US. I had Video on Demand... (Not just Pay Per View Movies, but I could pause, rewind, fast forward on a Pay Per View movie.. ) It was pretty fucking cool!
I need to get back there... I miss it!!

I got cable tv. Had satellite in Cali. I preferred the satellite over cable because of the menu system differences.
What's your UIN? Mine is 29 2 9686
