What was funny was I asked my son if he thought The Kid would want a ride. He said no way.
I went in the house and asked him if he wanted to go for a ride and he was all for it.Comment

Very cool. My dad used to ride me all over town on his Harley, pre-helmet law days. I always remember how people honk at you all over the place when you're at intersections.
and then my uncle took me over 100 on his GSXR, but we didn't tell Mom and Dad.

He's old enough for his own, now someone has to get him one. My gramps owned a Yamaha dealership in Florida in the late 70s early 80s. I got my first Yamaha YZ50 for Christmas when I was 4.
I still to this day remember clinging to the back of my gramps on his bike going 100+. I was about 8 at the time. I actually have the bike in storage now too. 1984 Yamaha FJ1100.Comment

Definitely a passion you want to pass onto youth. Nothing wrong with dirt bikes either, these kind of positive activities can really shape a child's future.Comment

I rode dirt bikes before I ever hit the street. I used to think guys that rode on the street were slightly nuts. And I agree. If my parents had worked with me instead of against me things would have been a lot different in all of our lives.Comment

A ride every so often is going to give him the bug. It's only a matter of time.

I still remember my first ride. My dad came home from work on his bike. I was waiting outside for him. I might have been 4 years old. He only took me around the block, but I loved it. I know more days then not after that I made sure I was outside when he was due home from work.Comment

I remember my first ride. I was 8 and my uncle took me out on his Harley. When we got back he warned my mom that I was a natural, knew how to stay with the bike and not fight turns without him even telling me. I love riding just need to find someone to take me out.ICQ# 419 775 271

If not for a show then when maybe when I get a chance to come out and visit my friend. He actually builds bikes, it would be great if we could all go out on a ride. I will try and see if I have any pics of some of the bikes he built and post them for you to see.ICQ# 419 775 271

Way cool, nothing like a kids smile to make up your day.
Looks like you have 3 bikes, which one do you ride the most?Comment

Really cool vids
I miss that Harley sound...Within a month we should start seeing them around townComment

Four. The one in the video I use the most for around town. Road trips are for the dresser. I hope to ride the Heritage (red one) back to Indiana this summer so I can leave it there and have a bike there for when I visit.
That's old school.

That was pretty coolCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about thatComment
