Way backnow, I was in like grade 11 I think, this kid a couple years younger, grade 8 or 9, big redneck kid came charging at me in the washroom. Right when I wound around to punch the little fucker our gym teacher came in a shipped us straight to the principals office.
We just got this new Newfie principal at school and as we're getting shit, this kid keeps butting in telling him how it's bullshit and fuck him, fuck that, he wants to fight. Now this Newfie is starting to get an idea of why i want to drop him. He asks the kid if he thinks he can take me, of course this little redneck shit says hell ya.
So the Newfie principal tells us, if we both want to and both agree, he'll let us go in the conference room behind his office and give it until one of us wins, but we both got a 2 week suspension if we do. It was right like a week befor emidterms, so I'm heavily weighing the options. I'm not afraid of suspension, but i was a slacker kid who got by highschool acing tests. So the principal proposes another idea first, before we go in the room and scrap, we'll have an arm wrestle.
We wound up arm wrestling for like a half hour, I kicked this kids ass like 20 times and he wouldn't give up, he still wanted to fight me. I remember the exact quote "Arm wrestling is for pussies, it don't mean shit til there's teeth on the ground." i still laugh about that shit to this day. High school fights were fun and all that, but people don't understand that a simple thing like a high school fight can end up with people getting killed, etc. Look at what happened to Natasha Richardson - She fell, hit her head, and hours later she's dead.

anyone can slip and fall and bust their head. take fighting out of hockey for that reason? quit ultimate fighting? freak accident, doesn't mean we have to revolutionize ways of life. i'm not supporting this kind of fighting but yeah i remember in high school little scuffles broke out, its kids being kids. this is way too extreme but you can't eliminate everything
