Hey lulu, I have used several. Saleforce is the best, but expensive and only for larger companies. I tired Goldmine..was ok. Tried another one that was raided by the FBI...see Entellium. I would stick with ACT. Takes a little while to get used to, but very functional, and you can customize it. Be happy to help out if you need it

I've used Sugar. If you're looking at the free community version, watch out for some weird bugs if you try to link up Exchange/Kerio for email and when working with leads.
otherwise, I had no problems with it.

I actually didn't know about that myself. But was clicking around trying to find the pricing. I think we pay under $500 per year for a 5 user account. Well worth it.
I'm just got a freebie account for some side projects to give it a test.Comment

We used Sugar CRM and it was very decent. No real complaint to be honestComment

I just signed up for a 7 day free trial at Salesforce. For 1 user, a 1 year price is $99 till the end of the month...it will then go up to the regular price of $199. For $99 it would be tough to beat Salesforce.JC Maldini
