Why would you make extra bathrooms for 0.0000000000001% of a population that is actually going to use them? This is like making extra bathrooms for Furries, adults who like to dress up as babies and necrophiles.
I'm sympathetic to this. I really believe you have to accept who you are in this world and work with it to be happy. I'm an unattractive, uncharismatic white/"ginger" dude with a good brain. Women have never looked at me with desire. Men look at me and see an easy target. But I can make lots of money easily because I have a good brain. These are fundamental facts of my life that I have to accept and work with in order to be happy. I don't get to just decide "hey I identify as attractive now" and have the world treat me as such.

The explosion of identity politics has told everyone, it's okay if you want to be someone else. You can just pretend and the rest of the world has to accept it.

So now we have a narrative being pushed down our throats that if you don't like who you are, you can just tell everyone you're someone else. Every person who is dissatisfied with the body they were born into has the option to choose a different identity and be a different person. According to the narrative, everyone around them is supposed to accept them in that role...but they don't, in reality. Plenty of feminists don't want trans-women to call themselves women.

And that's why trans-people have so much pain: They start out unhappy with the body they're in. But they don't accept it, they try to change it. The narrative nowadays tells them they can if they want. They're told that the world around them is supposed to accommodate it...but in reality, almost no one wants to have a romantic relationship with a trans-woman.

I don't know why all this extremely specific stuff is being pushed in the mainstream. But I know that its encouraging people to live in a fantasy world about the body they're born in. And I don't believe it's a good thing.
