In all fairness, gender was or still is the same thing as anatomy, depending on who you ask. I used to think this was not the case, however, when you do some research, you will find that the definition of gender has taken on new meaning. This leaves a lot of people confused. The true definition of gender has basically been taken over by the social movement for acceptance of transgender people. Whether someone wants to accept this or not, doesn't matter. It is just language, and nobody has the right to tell a group of people what a word means. Words take on new meaning all the time. There is no difference here.
