Affiliate advertising hasn't changed much. The internet is run by advertising, and just like television adverts, it will never go away. Advertising is just paid word of mouth.

Affiliate as in I have some old domains running hosted tube that bring in a few pennies, and Active in as far as I renew those domains each year as they bring in more than they cost.

But aside from my clipstore that I have not updated since 2013 (But still brings in sales) I am retired.

As for how much longer I don't know though, cause this morning I received a paxum payment but I am unable to withdraw it via EFT as usual... Strange... I've emailed Ruth anyway...

Of 47 GFY members that answered the poll:

41 or 87.23% identified themselves as active affiliates.
6 or 12.77% identified themselves as non-affiliates.
And nobody identified themselves as illiterate.

So, extrapolating that data, using the latest known active gfy membership count of a zillion million bazillion shit ton members we can safely say that at least a bazillion and 5 of them are affiliates.

This proves conclusively and without a doubt that the Affiliate model is not dead and that the majority of GFY members are still doing affiliate marketing of some kind.

This interpretation of the results is subject to the standard deviation of plus or minus 140.025978%
