    I may have killed someone

    Now click bait out of the way.

    Have you ever thought that your actions in life may have inadvertently ended another humans life? Never seeing or hearing about it, just oblivious.

    It could be something so small, like maybe a placement of an object, making a stranger choose another path (driving or walking) or a type of butterfly effect.

              I guess both. The thought came to me while I was about to cross the street. A car pulled up to the stop sign, I got there about the same time, so I thought it would be better if I let the car go and I'll cross at the next block (courtesy). The decision was my choice, but the person in the car indirectly influenced my decision. Had I been killed as a result of that decision, the driver would have never known.

                      I've thought about it before but you can't dwell over something the rest of your life not knowing just live to the fullest and worry about that later!

                              I've thought about that a lot.

                              Just look at when someone is broken down on the side of road and for some reason it causes a traffic jam. All of those people's lives have been altered in some way, and maybe one person will in the right spot later that day to be hit by a truck because of being held up by that traffic jam. I'm typing his right now because of an email I answered 20 years ago. If I didn't answer that email, I would be living a totally different life right now for better or worse. I could be getting my dick sucked in Bora Bora by a jungle bitch in one of those alternate timelines.

                                      I watched two teenagers burn to the death once.

                                      I was driving on the freeway when a mini van in front of me suddenly lost control and went flying across the freeway. It hit a dump truck head on, flipped over, and caught fire. We were able to three kids out. We tried to put out the fire but couldn't get to the other two.

                                                                      Was at a farm party many young-and-foolish years ago - we were runnin' low on beers. Several of us were offerin' to take a ski-doo into town to the beer store for resupply. At one point I offered to make the trip. But another buddy of ours got his way and headed out. We'd all been drinkin' pretty heavy at that point.

                                                                      On his way back, he ran into the rear of a parked pickup truck on a dark sideroad. They estimated he was doin' around 80mph. He was airlifted from the scene by chopper and flown to Toronto for emergency surgery. He was busted up real bad.

                                                                      Never walked again.

                                                                      Always wondered how things would've been different had I made the trip instead.
