fucking assholes running rampant on there - they booted us off. such hypocrites, Ken Marcus the famous bondage and porn shooter does nothing but sit on the MM forums all day these days and they don't do shit to him, he even has his URL to his paysite with cock sucking on the splash page in his profile, there's a Hustler shooter who does the same and openly recruits for girls for Hustler shoots. I never had a lot of luck on MM. I received a lot of interest. A lot who said they would, or could work. But when it came down to shoot time. 9 of 10 times they had to cancel or reschedule.

I was looking for a photographer to bring in an shoot some stills. Apparently some piss ant did not like the casting, and reported, or this Playboy guy saw it since he moved to Michigan.

I had contacted him to see what the fuck, and they said I was a modeling agency. Even though everything on linked profile(s), and corp site says otherwise. As well, comment from models who've worked for me commenting on the shoots they did.

I tracked back to the 'mod' and in reading his BIO I had to laugh when I see how knee deep he is in adult. Hippocracy at it's finest.

Agreed. They have been adding a lot of new mods lately from what I can tell, and have heard from the number of bannings. Some people I have seen their castings, and it is easy to see why banned coming out of the gate when vulgar.

Others seem to be a pick and choose if you show up on the radar.

ModelMayhem is no longer owned by the kid who started it - he sold out to InternetBrands - they own VBulletin software and a ton of community type sites/forums.
But they let the volunteer Nazi fag moderators run the place.

it is a horrible place - pathetic old photographers who think they are fashion and glamour photogs but will never make a living as photographers who flirt and kiss the asses of the delusional girls on MM who think they are going to be supermodels or Playmate of the Month. these guys fly these girls in for weekends and pay them and make the girls even more delusional. I suspect a lot of these guys are also paying the models for sex.

I know of a few models who have contacted me but opted to work for some photographers out in Vegas, or Arizona doing those solo girl strip tease, and POV blow job type things. Not only is there hypocrisy, favoritism and banning without a warning but crazy stuff like people apparently unaware of internet basics like hotlinking of images, etc...acting as if MM is a walled garden.

It's entertaining but it's rare to do any serious business with other photographers or models.

that's the exact same as what happened to us - but they did respond - i have a long heated argument thread with that Contact-a-Mod thingy they have - battling with 4 different dipshits who were enjoying the fact that they had ultimate power over me.

when trying to get a new account use totally different photos and models.

and if you don't get a new account approved the only option is to find somebody with an account they aren't using and buy it off them. I tried but i couldn't find anybody who had an account for sale.

Yes I have had the same problems with Modelmayhem and Craigslist.

Modelmayhem will allow females to interact with porn related assignments , but us men, as soon as the mods find out they will delete our profiles from modelmayhem. Double standards.

I also have learned that many and I mean many photogs that use MM shoot nudes and full explicit nudes of underage girls. I was browsing the forums on MM and came across many photos defending the right to shoot full explicit nudes of girls underage and that the girl should have right to do it as well. I know this for a fact!!! I know a girl girl known as Amea Moretti now in LA doing porn that started out on MM , and yes shooting explicit nude at 16 and 17 years old with several Arizona photogs!! These guys need to be put in prison!!

And everytime I post on CL, it gets flagged and deleted as well, but all the big companies are allowed to stay lol So yes we have those who try to keep others from finding new talent.

CL needs to charge 5 bucks as i would pay it to advertise for talent, that way we dont get all these games!

Yes there is a major website in AZ who also sits around trying to keep girls he shoots from working other shooters if they are first timers, he also turns girls against other shooters. This GUY takes the girls to the Mall and buys them many nice things has their hair and make up done , even gives them money for sex off cam!! This is another fact and I think you all know who i am talking about! He shot a girl that is NOW FTVgirls main girl! lol yup exception the rule I guess ......

So I have shot girls that have worked with this guy, i pay them 800 to 1500 per shoot
then they go shoot with this guy and they will never talk to me again, I wonder why this is??? Its too bad I can not afford to spoil them at the Mall in my Ferrari !!

Oh well I am just starting out on my way up. Gotta get me a Bugatti to make the girls feel better about shooting with me.

Yes,, I know a lot of the wanna be Arizona photogs that are all over Modelmayhem, they never ask the models for ID's and argue with about it! Saying they are not releasing it so they dont have to ask the girl for Id's, I tell them they are wrong they need to make sure that all models are over 19 years of age if they are shooting nudes of her.

But again they make me out to be the bad guy cause i shoot porn with girls that i infact require to furnish valid ID's 18 USC 2257 requires it!!

i feel kinda sorry for some of the MM photographers who shoot the semi-nude, bikini, soft nudes - they are too dumb or scared to shoot for the adult industry, so they let all these sites like Teaseum, StrobeMagazine, Savvy, Fast n Sexy etc have their content for next to nothing - well in most cases not next to nothing - they literally do get nothing. And the dumb models get nothing either.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Yeah, almost everyone starts out needing to build their skills.

What's fucked up about MM is the 2-faced double standard where only certain people can discuss the option of doing adult, and others are shut out and banned for that.

I think alot of the models like it cause the naive photographers pay them with $ and/or attention, and since there's no model release/ID, etc, their wild side stays on the down-low.
