I watched some of it this morning, and frankly it was disgusting. It's become very clear we have two different governments with completely different goals. One side wanted to talk about the investigation into Hillary Clinton and her emails, and the other side wants to know why the Justice Department isn't doing anything about how our election was abused by a foreign country.

It's stunning.

We've investigated the emails. There was no crime committed. At all. Period. There is no law that says the Secretary of State cannot use a private email to send out classified information. In fact, this was common at the State Department and also Congress. We've investigated Hillary Clinton and discovered no wrong doing, however, if the Republican party is still concerned about how classified email is handled by the State Department perhaps they should have investigations into other Secretaries of State and how they handled their email. To make this fair and impartial, we should start with two Republican Secretaries of State.

At the same time our entire Intelligence Community is telling us a foreign country interfered with our election, and our government is doing nothing about it.

At the same time, the Republican party is trying to accuse both the FBI and the Justice Department.

I have a idea. From now on any time someone demands an investigation we will have an investigation. If Trey Gowdy wants to have an investigation, we'll have an investigation. However, we'll start with Trey Gowdy. We will start with a bi-partisan panel that will investigate Trey Gowdy and his staff, read every email they've sent in the past four years, every text, and the minutes of every note. In the event Trey Gowdy doesn't end up in prison, we will move forward with the actual investigation. However, in the event the investigation ends with no charges, Trey Gowdy should be removed from office and banned from politics FOR LIFE.

I'm not kidding. There has to be some kind of punishment for demanding an investigation when there is no crime and no wrong doing. Republicans demanded investigations into Hillary Clinton, over a dozen of them, no crime was found to have been committed - Why are these people still in office? Why haven't we had an investigation into these people to see if the ONLY reason they wanted the investigation in the first place is for political reasons?

We need our government to act like a government, not two governments who want to spend all of their time pointing fingers at each other.
