I go into hospital for 5 days of intensive chemo Monday. Will need to do it again in three weeks after that. Just as well Eva is a tough cookie, she now looks after me.

you would not believe me but NONE by the advice of the doctor.

That is not really true I was in hospital for 2 weeks but getting my legs stronger after 3 weeks just laying down. And now I get myself to the therapy, hoping to get back as I was, but just building up my belly muscles and just a little for the bottom of my back.

I'm back driving and when I need to look on the cross where is no traffic lights I have to turn in my waist, I know it sounds scary, but somebody has to drive.

I have alot of titanium hardware in my leg, and the only metal detectors I've ever set off are those handheld wand types. I go thru airport detectors just fine.

Sweet Lord That is some impressive hardware. Modern medicine can do wonders, it's good to keep that in mind.

NONE? Wow I am amazed. I have a friend that was in a bad wreck who is going every day for 2 hours because of nerve damage in her knee and arm. She was no where near in as bad as shape as you were. No surgeries or hardware .

It was a very bad accident and when Eva arrived at the hospital they didn't think she would survive the night. It's down to her fighting spirit and fitness that she is alive and fit today.

This is how she was a few days after the accident.

Eva has just left to go to work and take our daughter to school.
